Announcement of the SKOS-2024 conference
Dear colleagues!
We are pleased to inform you about the start of accepting applications for participation in our Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference with the participation of ASEAN and BRICS countries “Environmental Control Systems – 2024“ (SKOS–24).
The conference will be held in Sevastopol from November 5 to 8, 2024 at the premises of Sevastopol State University, at the address: Gogol St., D. 14 During the conference, it is planned to discuss current issues in the following sections:
- Global and regional climate and environmental changes;
- Ecology of nature management;
- Methods and means of measuring the parameters of the natural environment.
The purpose of the SKOS–24 is to exchange the results of environmental research and advanced methods and technologies for its control between scientists and specialists of the international scientific community. The SKOS–24 Conference is planned to be held in an expanded international format. To participate in the Conference, it is necessary to fill out an application and prepare abstracts in Russian and English by October 7, 2024. The application form, as well as the requirements for registration and samples of abstracts are given in Appendix 1 and Appendix 2. The application and abstracts should be sent to the e–mail address of the organizing committee: skos2024@mail.ru or post them using the Yandex form: https://forms.yandex.ru/u/667e8f1b5056900a37701ea8/.
If you need an official invitation to participate in the conference, please inform the organizing committee in advance. The estimated time allowed for one presentation is 15 minutes (10 minutes for a report + 5 minutes for discussion). The report is made in the form of a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (*.ppt) or in the form of a Portable Document Format (*.pdf) file for demonstration using a slide projector. The conference includes face-to-face, online broadcast and poster forms of participation. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Participants pay for their own accommodation and travel to the conference venue. By the beginning of the Conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials (in printed and electronic form). The collection of materials in Russian and English will be posted in the national bibliographic database of the Russian Research Center. Selected reports of the conference will be recommended for publication in the scientific journal “Environmental Control Systems“ (VAK K–2).
IMPORTANT DATES
July 2024 – distribution of the first information letter, the beginning of acceptance of applications and abstracts of the report.
October 07, 2024 – the deadline for accepting applications and abstracts.
October 2024 – distribution of the second information letter and the conference program.
November 5-8– 2024 – the conference will be held.
The REGISTRATION FEE for participants of the full–time and distance format is 1,500 rubles (for one report), for young scientists (up to 35 years old) 300 rubles. Detailed information about the payment details will be sent in the second information letter.
